Homemade Remedies

My eyes have been bothering me for a long while now. The inside of the inner lower eye-lid corners would itch like crazy. It's dangerous to rub because it can damage the cornea (or something like that) so my grandma prepared 2 remedies for me:
1. Roll a hard-boiled egg around my eyes until it stops itching.
2. Look into a cup of hot chrysanthemum tea. The vapors will soothe the itching.

So far, I've only tried the tea. It took some time, but the itching stopped.

I had asked my dad earlier for help with this topic, but all he would ever do is tell me to take some allergy pills. I thought the symptoms were too minor to pop one, so I never took one...

And one last one...
To lower chances of breast cancer...
Don't sleep with your bra on.
Random, yes. But... I don't know. Some doctors said that. We should trust the people who sacrificed their youth for the brains (and money)!

You have links on the breast cancer thing? O.o

I tried looking, but I couldn't find any reliable links or studies on the internet.

My mom claims that deodorant is related to breast-cancer. I looked it up just now. Interesting. It's not conclusive. But the women who began shaving and using deodorant earlier usually got breast cancer earlier.

By hey way, I tried looking it up, but I didn't get much either.
i typed "bra breast cancer sleep"
and i got a link linking to all-natural.com, but i din't get much... and the other responses I've read says that it's basically inconclusive... all-natural is the only one that claims that it is harmful.

Eh, I'm not sure if I should trust that site or not. Alternative medicine has never sat well with me, and just because it's been published in a book doesn't mean that it's true. Witness the miracle that is Anne Coulter. The name "all-natural" just sets off alarm bells, or maybe I had too much Chinese medicine earlier in my life.

The words I used were "bra cancer".

I think that this is the anti-source that is the most linked to.

And while a search for "bra cancer" on Google Search doesn't show research into wearing bras overnight, it does have several links on the size of breasts and breast cancer.

...WTF?
