Flashback

Today is such a beautiful day...
Makes me remember the summer days with mom.
There was absolutely nothing to do.
One of the last things I did before moving was engraving the image of the neglected palm tree, with all its dead fronds just drooping against the blue blue sky through the big window into my mind.
Today really reminds me of that day.
Back then, during boring days like this, I'd dig out a cute/catchy song and listen to it nonstop and just stare at the sky.
Takes me back.
